I'm working with a client in the aerospace industry located on Montreal's North Shore. In full expansion, they are looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Supervisor. Join an exciting adventure at the heart of aerospace innovation!
Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, here are the responsibilities of the position:
-Manage a team of buyers/suppliers and develop their skills and versatility;
-Continuously consider solutions to improve performance;
-Supervise procurement activities (delivery times, priority management, priority management, etc.);
-Manage preventive reminders and action messages generated by ERP, and negotiate necessary adjustments with suppliers;
-Analyze consumption and regularly update item supply parameters in ERP;
-Set up and monitor the indicators needed to steer your business and ensure internal visibility;
-Participate in cost reduction (analyze, plan, execute);
-Establish and maintain relationships by focusing on objectives and striving to promote harmonious relations between parties;
Qualifications :
-Demonstrate organizational skills, time management, autonomy and thoroughness;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
-University degree (BAC) in business administration, marketing, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience);
-A minimum of five (5) years' experience in supply chain management and purchasing;
-Excellent knowledge of ERP systems
-Expertise in aeronautics (an asset);
-Bilingualism.
-Spanish (an asset).
