I am accompanying one of our clients in the public sector, located in the east end of Montreal, in their search for a procurement agent - special projects.
Here are the responsibilities of the role:
- Assist contract administrators in preparing calls for tender, issuing
and monitoring contracts;
- Review relevant information using internal or market comparisons like;
- consumer studies,
- fluctuating seasonal demands,
- type of materials required,
- quality requirements, possibilities of substitute products, etc,
- Update files required for contract preparation;
- Ensure the creation, updating and follow-up of the supplier bank;
- Complete the RFQ process for purchases under $25,000;
- Carry out steps related to the creation and follow-up of orders
orders in SAP, credit card follow-up, material disposal and all transactions and follow-ups for which it is responsible;
- extract, produce, update, monitor and check the validity of information and data required for its area of activities;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements :
- DEC in accounting or a CCS in procurement management;
- Three (3) years' relevant experience in order tracking or
acquisition of various commodities
- Basic knowledge of SAP MM module;
- Knowledge of the SEAO platform
- Assets: Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations

PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
