Logistic Technician
Your missions
I'm assisting one of our clients, in the distribution sector, in their search for a transport agent - located in Ville Saint Laurent.
• Release of daily (Ric) orders in the AS400 / TMS
• Trouble shoot any orders that may be stuck due to technical issues.
• Answer daily Emails for Air and ground quotes for PCL orders.
• Follow up on lost or damaged pcl orders.
• Enter claims for orders and invoices for a variety of orders.
• Modify inventory on different items so they maybe shipped. (Length Cargo)
• Enter rates lanes /zip codes for different PCL and LTL transport companies.
• Looks up invoices, POD and tracking numbers to locate missing shipments and other documentation.
• Work closely with the customer service SAC team to resolve issues.
• In constant contact with Shipping Dept. to ensure the release of rush orders Air / Ground.
• Escalates issues to managers when necessary.
• Enter of Fuel surcharge rates every Monday, according to the Fuel cost exchange and update in the AS400.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• In communication and assistance with other warehouses.
• Prepare Returns and pickups of shipments from Can-US and vice versa via Purolator, UPS and Loomis.
Your profile
- Relevant transportation experience
- Good knowledge of computerized tools
- Organized, autonomous, able to manage work environment;
- Good management of priorities and a healthy work ethic;
- Good team spirit;
- Spoken and written English and French essential;
- Experience in personnel management (asset);
