Production Planning Manager
Your missions
We are looking for a Production Planning Manager for our client located in Richelieu.
The candidate will work in a fast-growing manufacturing environment, and will be expected to ensure good team management.
Main responsibilities:
- Guide, mobilize and ensure the quality of the work of the resources under his/her responsibility;
- Analyze requests and capacities in detail, based on objectives;
- Provide daily and weekly production schedules to the various workshops.
- Be responsible for optimizing planning processes and tools in a "made-to-measure" manufacturing context;
- Develop and implement work procedures to ensure consistency;
- Work in collaboration with the various departments to define constraints and performance measures to improve adherence to the overall planning plan;
- Create and implement performance indicators and dashboards;
- Liaise between planning, purchasing and production to coordinate the achievement of the order book;
- Propose and coordinate alternative production scenarios and recovery plans;
- Evaluate and propose internal manufacturing lead times to management;
- Participate in establishing functional requirements and specifications for ERP adaptations.
Your profile
What we are looking for our client :
- University degree in engineering, GOP or other relevant field;
- 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar position (planning or supply chain);
- At least 3 years' experience in personnel management;
- Mastery of inventory planning and management principles;
- Experience in manufacturing environment, custom production is an asset;
- Experience with an ERP system.
