Your missions
We are looking to fill the position of Logistics and Business Development Technician for a client in the Transportation Department located in Ville St-Laurent.
Under the department manager your tasks are:
Act as the main point of contact for all specific questions from your customers.
Establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients.
Ensure timely and successful delivery of services based on client needs
Identify opportunities for growth and sales development.
Assist customers in their requests for information and information.
Develop a new clientele.
Communicate with the pricing department and use the tools in place to set rates to customers.
Manage the line of communication for customer inquiries.
Manage issues that may arise by communicating with the customer.
Your profile
*3 to 5 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry
*Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
*Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
* Resourceful, in solution mode.
*Experience in Transport brokerage (3PL), an asset
