Your missions

Today, we are supporting a client in specialized distribution. In this context, we are looking for a Supply Chain Process Improvement Coordinator, the position is located in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, coordinating and monitoring activities related to various projects. You will participate in the development and improvement of current and future work processes and methods, in the drafting of documents, in training and in the development of control tools.

Your tasks will be:
Analyze, plan, coordinate and monitor activities related to various projects under his responsibility.
Document the processes and working methods and propose innovative solutions in order to optimize them.
Participate in developments and test new solutions to ensure they meet customer needs.
Create training documents (instructions and processes) for the new tools.
Develop performance indicators and control tools following the improvements implemented and compare them to the established targets.
Train and support stakeholders on new processes.
Ensure effective links are made with the stakeholders of the various projects.
Prepare progress reports for the project committee and the management committee.
Collaborate with the supply chain and purchasing, IT, operations, marketing, other Richelieu warehouses and external suppliers.
Exercise a positive and unifying leadership in the management of change, the achievement of the objectives and the respect of the vision and the values of the company;
Address the issues to the various stakeholders;
Maintain excellent working relations with all employees and stakeholders of the company;
Apply the policies and procedures of the supply chain;
Perform all other tasks related to the position and its team assigned by the immediate supervisor

Your profile

Hold a bachelor's degree in administration (operations and logistics management or industrial engineering)
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the supply chain including a minimum of 2 years in process improvement and project management
Mastery of MRP concepts
Experience with one of the ERP inventory and warehousing software (JDE, AS400 or Optimiza)
Experience in training and / or software development in a manufacturing or distribution context
Bilingualism (English and French) both oral and written
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good knowledge of Visio
Experience with Access data management software (asset)
