Your missions

Located in Candiac, Quebec, our client is a large manufacturing group in the cardboard industry.
They are looking for a demand planner. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Define and maintain both the overall demand for finished products as well as for its major accounts;
Act as a leader of the S&OP process for the demand planning component for his business unit;
Analyze sales and market statistics, feed a statistical database, contribute to the effectiveness of communication about the adjustments to be expected as well as the dissemination of information;
Monitor demand on a weekly basis and communicate up-to-date projections to equip managers for decision-making;
Identify gaps between the execution of the sales plan and forecasts while supporting continuous improvement initiatives;
Understand the internal and external factors that can influence demand.

Your profile

Hold a BAA, operations and logistics management profile or a bachelor's degree in operations and logistics engineering;
A minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning in a manufacturing environment;
Have significant work experience with an ERP system, ideally SAP or IBP;
Excellent command of Excel;
Be rigorous and have a strong capacity for analysis and influence;
Have a sense of organization and initiative;
Be an energetic, enthusiastic and determined team player;
Be bilingual (French/English);
Being a member of APICS would be an asset.
