Located in Longueuil, Quebec, our client is a key technology manufacturing company.
They are currently looking for an Inventory and Store Coordinator. This person reports to the Supply Manager and will have the role of:
The accuracy of inventory transactions in the ERP;
Entrances and exits of rooms (computer and physical);
Planning and preparation of the parts required by work order (MO) for assembly;
Coordinate and distribute work to other store employees;
Maintenance and optimal rotation of stocks;
Optimize working methods for the store (optimization of supply chain processes, product shelving, traffic flow, etc.);
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives;
The inventory (cyclical count, imbalance) and understand the gaps;
To initiate the process of integrating new parts;
Perform obsolescence analyzes of raw materials;
Maintain the KPIs related to the good management of the store;
Collaborate with the finance department to provide and match supplier invoices to receipts;
All other related tasks.
You hold an AEC in logistics or supply chain management;
You have worked for two (2) years in a storekeeper position in the manufacturing sector;
You hold your forklift competency card or have experience in forklift driving (an asset);
You are physically fit and not afraid to lift;
You like to analyze and find optimization solutions;
You are recognized for your sense of organization and your attention to detail;
You are comfortable with the Microsoft suite, particularly with Excel;
You are comfortable with ERP systems;
You have a good command of French, both orally and in writing;
You are able to have conversations in English with carriers;
If you have knowledge or experience in continuous improvement processes (5S, Lean Manufacturing, it's an asset!
