Your missions
Located in Boucherville, Quebec, one of our clients is a manufacturer of cold rooms. Their teams are growing and they are looking to add a raw materials supplier to their supply team.
Here are the tasks:
Analyzes purchase suggestions and sends purchase orders for raw materials, subcontracting and special items.
Follows up on purchase orders, obtains confirmations and ensures on-time delivery
Ensures an optimal stock level according to the production level of the factory
Supervises weekly inventory audits and undertakes the corrective actions necessary to achieve objectives
Collaborate with the team to reduce B/Os and improve replenishment processes
Makes min-max adjustment recommendations and system maintenance
Ensures that purchase prices comply with the contracts in place and keeps price lists up to date
Communicate any supply problem to the team (availability, delay, quality problem) and propose solutions
Creates new parts in the ERP system (Epicor)
Manage supplier returns
Actively participates in the improvement of processes related to his field of activity
Participates in negotiations with suppliers of the materials for which he is responsible
Your profile
Experience in a purchasing position minimum of 3 years
Relevant procurement training
Fluency in French and English (spoken, written)
Thoroughness, rigor, analytical skills
Good priority management
Be proactive and love action
Fluency with computers
Mastery of the office suite (Excel, Power point, Word)
