Your missions

We are looking to fill the position of Buyer-Manufacturer for a client in the
industrial environment located in St-Jerome.

Under the supervision of the Manager - the Buyer is responsible for the procurement and inventory management of products from its suppliers.
He ensures the constant availability of products and controls inventories.

In your daily work, you will have to:

Make purchase orders to maintain inventory levels;
Manage inventory levels, the age of the inventory and obsolete products
Analyze sales forecasts to plan demand;
Verify pricing accuracy on purchase orders and invoices;
Work in collaboration with the operations department to ensure the receipt of merchandise;
Manage product returns to suppliers;
Maintain supply software up to date;

Your profile

Your profile:

DEC or AEC in purchasing or procurement, an asset.
2 years experience in procurement in the manufacturing sector.
Bilingualism essential (French, English);
Good knowledge of MS Office suite (ex: Word, Excel);
Knowledge of an integrated management system (an asset).
